St. Nicks day is celebrated on like, the 5th? I don't celebrate it either, but all of my friends do, since they're Scandinavian I guess. They're all CLAIRE YOU DON'T CELEBRATE IT? Hahahaha. I reaaaaallllllyyyy want the Nikon D3000. Or maybe the Canon Rebel EOS, I think it's called. Right now, I have a point and shoot, but it's a biiiit more advanced than a cheapy one. It has manual settings and stuff. Ahhh snow day for me tomorrow, wooohooo!

that's awesome. Hot Topic is my favorite store too, and I will shop there probably for the rest of my life, lol! I buy a lot of t shirts, accessories, and skinny jeans there! The nearest one to me is 1 hour and 45 minutes. =] But, you get on the interstate. I love it!!!! AFI = awesome. Hot Topic owns! And yes! I loved both. Of Mice and Men made me cry though.. such a sad ending. Poor Lennie!

hi...

Financial aid form is indeed a nightmare, especially asking all these questions on tax forms and shit. Ugh! I have to have dad help me and anyone else with tax forms because he's the only one who knows what he's looking for. That's good that your son is helping you out. Sucks when you don't have financial aid, but at least he can have a job. I think practically the entire US economy sucks. California's is one of the worst as well. It's hard to find a job, especially when you're in the southern desert. I been looking for months.yet, im about to give up soon. Besides, I need to go back to school. Social security eh? I think kids can get some assistance if they are under the age of 18. I think my cousins got it because their dad has social security. I don't know. I don't remember anymore. They're all grown, too. They can't get assistance now, but hopefully your kids underage can. It'll help a lot.

Oh! And the classic novel is Of Mice and Men. I also had to do Tess of the D'ubervilles, but it's done.

Awww :[ I'm sorry. Well, we get a little snow but at most in a single snow we get maybe an inch or inch and a half. I live in southern Kentucky [joy!]. But actually, I like living in a small town, because you know almost everyone, and everyone helps others out. And, you can always go into the city. I hope you get to feeling better!

I sing 2nd too! I love it, actually. Singing, at least. And I'm just going to count on a snow day on Wednesday. At least a 2 hour delay. I mean, snow days are nice, but it still is amazing when I wake up at 6, and hear my parents yell down the hall that it's a late start because they heard it on the radio or something, and I just roll over and fall back asleep for 30 more minutes, and then I have more time to get ready. Best. Feeling. Ever. Hahah. And I barely have enough money for care packages, since I want a new camera. I keep saying I'll just save all of my Christmas money, but I know for a fact that a) it won't be enough to buy the camera I want, so I will have to keep saving money :/ and b)I'll be so tempted to buy other things. I seriously haven't bought any new cds in forever. And I LOVE buying cds. It sucks when I'm in best buy and I see the entire music collection, but I have to force myself to walk away and tell myself "I need to spend money on other things." Haha. I think my parents know how much I love cds, maybe they'll finally figure out that all I want this year is seriously like, a box of cds. We could totally work something out like, the equivalent value of these gifts you got me in CDs. Oh man that would be awesome. But actually, I must applaud my parents. Every year, they say, Claire, money's tighter this year, Christmas won't be very much, but it always feels like I get a lot. I'm really grateful. Did you celebrate St. Nicks Day?

I'm in a community girls choir. I'm not sure if I like it. I mean, I love singing, but I've been in choir since the 5th grade, and I finally graduate next year and I'm all eh about it. Haha. But I can't quit, because we're probably going on a big trip next year. I need to keep reminding myself if I had quit choir, I wouldn't have been able to sing in the Sydney Opera House, or Carnegie Hall. :D We're *supposed* to get a big blizzard on wednesday. A total white out, as the weatherman said. But we also were supposed to get 2 inches today, and that didn't happen. (I'm just crossing my fingers for a snow day though, I could totally use a day off of school!). I haven't started shopping yet. I need to figure out money stuff and blah. My parents make me have a budget for my money and stuff, and it's so dang confusing. I really miss just earning cash and spending it how I wanted to! :( I totally respect that they want me to take on adult responsibilities, but ugh. And they get angry every time I pull the "But I'm only 16!" Hee hee. I know I also have to budget to send out some Buzznet care packages too.
