Last night we had to once again say our goodbyes to my PRECIOUS Jordan! He is still on the road right now, and should be at his house on base in about 30 minutes! I am so thankful for technology that allows us to keep in touch as he travels! He had to drive through some trecherous storms in Michigan while I watched the live radar for him, but once he hit the Ohio line the weather was clear! He stopped at about 3am to sleep a few hours in a rest area! By 7am he was back on the road!
We had planned to have a picnic and a campfire! We got started on that, and about 40 minutes in, it started to rain! So, we moved inside! We had just put the hotdogs on the grill! So Andy and I stood out under the eaves while they roasted!
During our 40 minutes outside, I was able to get a few photos to share! I can't really shoot photos inside the camp because the lighting is terrible!
So let's get started:
This was actually before the party got started! My mom wanted a photo of her and my boys! Trevor wouldn't look at the camera!
Once everyone arrived, Gary picked his first flower for his momma! it was SO sweet!!! He is growing up much too quickly!
Not to be outdone by his little brother, James picked one for her too!
All of the boys decided to have a game of frizbee! Grace was with her dad, and Kay was at work!
Grace and her daddy were checking out the 4wheeler track that Grandpa had made for the older kids to ride around the camp!
Here is GREAT shot (for once, as I always catch her at bad times) of my momma! This woman is AMAZING!!! Just sayin! (:
One last shot before the rain began! I took this to show Gary's precious curls! I suppose he will need a haircut soon, but I am NOT looking forward to it!
As always, I will (almost) end with my favorite shot of the night! Trevor doesn't like the photo because you can't tell in the shot that he caught the frizbee! He did catch it! David was right there to back him up!
This was the last shot I took that night! The 2 little blurs at the bottom left of the shot are James and Gary tumblling around as Jordan was catching and tickling them! He so LOVES his little cousins!
I wish I would get that last phone call to tell me that Jordan is at his house! I expect it at any moment! I will be so relieved! Every time we say goodbye, it just gets harder and harder to let go!
Until next time my sweet sweet boy!
