Another whole year has passed, and it went very fast! My precious boy has turned the big TWO years old! We had a party and he had a lot of fun! Let's check it out!
The decorations were up when we arrived! Gary LOVES balloons! Here you see that we had the Most Awesome Party Hat Ever, but...we forgot to put it on him! (:
Gary got to choose the foodz, of course! He chose hotdogs and Spaghetti'Os! A very toddler friendly dinner! It just so happen that I agree with Gary and find both hotdgos S'Os to be YUMMY!!! I had seconds!
Here is the birthday boy enjoying his chosen nomz! We took his shirt off because Spaghetti'Os are very messy! It is easier to wash them off his chest than off his shirt! (:
Before we knew it, it was time for presents! Usually we do dinner, cake, presents! This time, to let our dinner sit a minute, we went the other way! Mama wanted to help him open them, although his siblings were quick to volunteer!
I got him a Teletubby dvd so that he can watch them in the car! He just loves them! (: Plus I always buy the kids candy for their birthdays! I got Gary a bag of Smarties and a Push Pop! Even though everything was in a gift bag, I wrapped the dvd in Christmas paper (that is all that I have) so he got to open something too!
His family got him a Flashlight Friend that is a cute plushy penquin! A Flashlight Friend is a stuffed animal with a flashlight in it's tummy! Kids can take it to bed with them, so they won't be scared of the dark! The light stays on for 10 minutes and then it goes off all on it's own! They also got him a magnetic drawing board! They had an old one that he just loved, but it just stopped working and we had to throw it away! He was thrilled to have a new one! Now for his BIG present from his parents:
It is a Little Tikes basketball hoop! Gary loved to be held up to "shoot" into the little nerf hoop that they have on their loft! Now he doesn't have to be lifted up! He can do it all by himself! (:
Grace and Trevor got it all put together for him! He kept saying, "I shoot! I shoot!"
Here he is shooting and his Flashlight Friend is laying on the floor! He eventually used that to shoot too!
Finally it time for cake! I forgot to mention above that he looked adorable in his Winnie The Pooh shirt! It matched his cake!
He was so excited to get the candles lit! When we sang Happy Birthday to him, he just beamed! Andy had to hold him back from blowing out the candles too soon! It was so cute!
Finally. it was time to make a wish and blow out his candles! This is my favorite shot of the night!
I hope you have enjoyed another photo blog of my family and our life events! This precious little boy means the absolute world to me, and I feel very privileged to be his auntie! I feel even more privileged to be the one who takes care of him!
HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY LITTLE MAN!!!
