BUZZNET STORY TELLERS ASSIGNMENT #24 ... NEW YEAR'S EVE

Just a few days after New Years The BSTG posted a new assignment asking what New Year's Eve was like in your country and how did you spend it!  A few of us motivated Story Teller's got their's posted before Buzznet got the sickies!  So, it is about time that I post this round up of their amazing contributions!  Let's get started!

JJ and the twins, Tiny Mr Potato Head and his brother Peter spent their New Year's Eve watching the ball drop in New York City!  They also had some good things to eat and a lof fun with these poppers!  To check out all of the fun, just CLICK here!

Jacob wrote us a nice blog about his New Year's Eve!  He doesn't really have any set traditions, he just likes to be loud, social, and have a good time!  This year he spent the holiday with his best friend Katie!  They had a few margaritas, saw Magic Mike, and followed that by dancing!  Sounds like a great time!  To read Jacob's blog in full, just CLICK here!

Haleigh gave us the history and details of the famous ball drop in New York City, which is how most people in the US bring in the new year!  We watch on television as the ball is dropped and when it rests at the bottom a new year has begun!  Haleigh and her familiy watched the broadcast, and when the clock struck midnight they used their noise makers and toasted each other with sparkling juice!  Check out her post in full ! Ellen gave us a beautiful photo blog run down of this past year in her life!  She has been through  major changes, but is handling it with a smile!  She spent New Year's Eve with her high school friends!  They went to one friend's house to play games, and then  rung in the new year at another friend's house!  Ellen then spent the night at her friend Nida's house like she always does!  To check out her  blog, CLICK here!

Eilish spent New Years Eve at her mom's friend's house!  They played board games, but didn't stay until midnight!  Eilish's mom had to go to dialysis the next morning at 5am!  On their way home they dropped off her sister at a friend's house, and Eilish brought in the new year online!  New Year's Eve isn't a favorite holiday of Eilish!  To read her blog, CLICK here!

Audrey had to work on New Year's Eve until 5pm, so she was tired!   Still she celebrated the holiday with her whole family!  They have a tradition of eating a King Cake that is a pastry!  Inside it has a bean!  Whoever gets the bean is the Queen!  Her sister got it!  She had a wonderful time dancing and singing with her nephew until he threw up!  It is a true family gathering when someone throws up!  Check out her post, CLICK here!

Stacey did some research and tells us all about New Year's Eve in America!  It is interesting and you should definitely read it!  She also told us about her holiday, and it wasn't very nice for her!  Stacey was sick and had to cancel all of her plans to celebrate with her boyfriend, Andrew!  She brought in the new year alone and sick!  Go give her some love!  Just CLICK here

Natt spent New Year's Eve online talking to her friend on Facebook and reading a book!  She also did a little photo shoot for us!  She tells us that in her country people celebrate the new year with parties and free concerts on tv of all the biggest bands!  To see that photo shoot, just CLICK here!

Sue told us all about New Year's Eve in Great Brittain !  Fireworks at midnight are a big deal and Scottland has their own special celebrations!  Sue and her family don't go out to parties and clubs like most people do!  They stay up and bring in the New Year in a quiet way!  Sue leaves her decorations up until the 12th night, so her home was still very festive!  She also makes a big meal on New Year's Day!
