Yesterday, Kay rescued the most adorable little kitten! She has wanted a kitten for a long time! Back when she was a young girl she wanted a kitten and we agreed to get her one! We got Robyn, but she bonded with me! So, finally all these years later, she has her very own kitty cat! She named her Smoochella Grace Keiser! She is Smoochie for short ! She seems to be adjusting well! Robyn isn't terribly impressed, but is showing signs of adjusting already! Smoochie didn't mind either of her daily baths! She is inquisitive, but sticks pretty close to her new "Mommy"! She will be seeing the vetrinarian next week to get checked over and her baby shots! Until we know for sure that she is well and healthy we are keeping her in Kay's room and bathroom! We let her and Robyn check each other out, but we are not allowing any contact! If you have any suggestions, please put them in the comments!
Jordan is still stranded in Princeton, West Virginia! I was able, by phone, to get the rental car for one more day for him! I hope everything works out with that! This means that he has to be in Jacksonville, North Carolina by 6pm tomorrow night! It seems that the storm is pretty much over tonight, but he has no idea how he will dig the car out in order to get back on the road! I am glad that he gave himself extra travel time to get to Camp Lejeune before he reports for duty on Saturday! I hope the rest of the trip and his new station will all work out well! The hotel that he stopped at last night gave him a good price to spend another night! The only problem is that he has nothing to eat! I guess the hotel doesn't have a restaurant attached or room service! I hope he can at least get something from a vending machine! I am concerned about him not eating!
Well that is about all that is happening here! We have another snow storm coming in tonight and another over the weekend! They don't look like they will be too bad though! I can't believe tomorrow starts the weekend again! Time flies by so quickly!
