Well ... it was FRIGID in the good ole Mitten today!  Our temperature is -15 Farenheit and that is too darned COLD!!!  My toes are nearly numb in my house!  When you have to be outside your nose runs and cracks! Your lips get so dry that they crack!  But, we are a hardy bunch!  We all loaded up and went to Cheboygan to buy groceries and run errands! Baby Gary and James were both very good boys, and it was a good trip!  Well it was until we had driven all the way back to Levering and dropped off my dad, when Andy discovered that his iPad was missing!  We stopped on the side of the road and looked through everything in the van!  No iPad!!!  So he dropped Kay and I off and headed back to Cheboygan!  He had left it in the cart he had used in Walmart !  He keeps his shopping list on his iPad!  He also runs his business from his iPad! It is one very important piece of electronics!  He went back and the cart was still there, but no iPad!  He went inside and talked to the Walmart security!  They had people looking everywhere inside and outside for it while they checked their suveillance video!  They saw us leave, and no one near the cart!  They called the police who came and joined in the search!  They exhausted all of their options, so the police officer told Andy to drive over to the police department and file a report !  Sometime while Andy was driving literally just over the hill, a lady came into the police department and turned in an iPad that she found in a Walmart cart !  He got it back!!!  So, we are all VERY happy and relieved on this very frozen night! (:

About this photo!  I said we were a hardy bunch!  Even after spending the last 6 days down with the flu, I just couldn't stay inside when there was so much nature and beauty to photograph!  I found this lone deer track going up over this knoll covered in untouched snow!  That provided perfect circumstances for a snowscape photo! (:
