The Depot
Kay and I stopped by The Depot in Alanson tonight! I wanted to get some more photos of the inside! It was an actual railroad depot a hundred or so years ago! When trains stopped going through our area back in the 1980s, it then sat empty for quite a few years until it was recently turned into a restaurant! There is a Depot restaurant in Mackinaw City too, but it closes for the winter! This one is decorated inside with actual artifacts from it's past ! I have been thinking about this shot for a few weeks, well since before the holidays! I was thinking that this sign that is right across from the entrance would have reflectors on it! I remember the railroad crossing signs from my childhood riding around in the backseat of my parents Buick! I was thinking that if I shot this with a flash it would turn out like this! Well I was right (for once in my life) and it worked ! I hope you all like it ! (:
