This was taken this morning at about 9am!  I tried to catch the snowflakes, and I kind of did !  They are the little smears in the shot! (:  Andy just drove us home in his Yukon and we have about 12" of new snow and the roads are nearly impassible!  ALL the schools in Northern Michigan are closed for tomorrow because we are going to get up to another 10-12 inches over night and into the day tomorrow!  I am not going anywhere tomorrow!  Not even to Andy's and he is only 4 blocks away! I want as few family members on the road as possible!  My cousin, Jim, drives a semi that carries the mail between our two peninuslas!  I am pretty worried about him tonight!  I can't see out my bedroom window because the snow has been blown so hard against the side of the building it stuck!  Our front door is completely covered in snow!  I had to work hard to get it to lock when we came in!  I wanted a white Christmas and I am pretty sure that will be achieved! (:  On the other side of this,  there are THOUSANDS of people without power!  Ours keeps flashing off and on, but thankfully it is still on!  If it goes out, we have no heat!  We have filled the bathtub so we will have water to flush the toilets!  We can melt snow for drinking water should we need!  We have lots of cereal and milk, so we won't go hungry either!  It's all a part of living up north!  I will update you all tomorrow when we see just how this is going to go down!
