This is the church building. Please see photo number #1 to read it's history. Here is my description again...
It is used for the communities Memorial Day services every year. It has no heat, and all the pews are wooden benches. It seats about 30 comfortably, but can pack in 45 or 50 on Memorial Day. All the local verterans are honored and wear as much of their uniform as they still can. I remember going there with my parents and grandparents when I was very young. My mom is now on the committee that organizes the yearly service. I took this before all the leaves were gone, and planned to post it on Veterans Day, but I missed it since I had the flu. Better late then never!
